UMEX 2018 is the only exhibition-fair event in the region dedicated to unmanned systems and technologies. The event's organizer is IDEX LLC, with the support of the OAU Ministry of Defense and the OAU Armed Forces.

The target audience of the exhibition-conference are government delegations, defense industry agencies and enterprises, as well as representatives of military and civilian institutions.
