The project effect is achieved by increasing the  production volume due to transfer from OHF Steel production to BOF production, by reducing steel cost (mainly due to the reduction of Metal Expense Index during the HRC production), as well as due to the market reallocation – high margin market segments become available in case of Project implementation.

The project planned the construction of a Converter branch in the composition of installations of desulphurization, 2 converters with a capacity of 300 tons each, 2 units of ladle-furnace and vacuum plant, in the rolling Department projected construction of 2 casting-rolling modules.
